The TE™ technology addresses the problem of performance longevity of ageing LEDs by making the exchange of the engine a simple procedure that can be carried out in just a few minutes. This simple process ensures there are no warranty issues.
But transferable means so much more than replaceable! It also makes it easy to keep a consistent quality of light throughout your inventory. Built-in headroom in the power supply enables cost-effective retrofitting over the extended fixture lifetime, if newer and more efficient LED technologies become available at a minimal cost. Going green, Robe will provide free of cost return of used engines and subsequently offer deals on refurbished engines.
Our TE™ modules are much more than a light source - they store usage data such as age, hours of use, remaining brightness, serial numbers and more. Besides being retrievable from the fixture’s display, this data is also recallable with a free mobile app via NFC when the engine is removed from the light. A dedicated DMX channel on Robe fixtures containing TE™ modules allows for a speedy, remote check of the current brightness of these luminaires through your rig, shown by colour coding on the output of the fixtures.

The TE™ HP White LED Engine (HP meaning High Performance) produces the highest output possible. Alternatively, the TE™ HCR White LED Engine (High Colour Rendition) is for those requiring exceptional colour quality with its exceptionally high inherent CRI. Now you can fit either engine within the same fixture, without alignment or warranty issues, within five minutes!
